Bonnie Serjeant
Bonnie Serjeant, a Michaelis Fine Art graduate with studies in architecture and design from Bezalel in Jerusalem, has left her artistic mark across the globe. Her journey took her from New York to California, where her work found homes. In Albuquerque, she immersed herself in Native American art and New Mexico’s rich culture, even restoring adobe houses. Mexico’s vibrant public spaces and murals left an indelible mark, especially the saints adorning old churches. Back in South Africa, she pioneered mural painting amidst ongoing construction, incorporating discarded materials. Her pieces, marrying earthy textures with feminine grace, grace private and corporate collections in South Africa and the United States. Today, Bonnie paints in a studio nestled just steps away from the Atlantic Ocean.
